Stanza 107

"You therefore must appoint a dozen men
Who can be called upon to help us when
My phone receives the notice we await
Alerting us that we should congregate
And be prepared to whisk the arms inside."
The mayor says to him, "I will decide
Tomorrow, if God wills, which men to use.
It will not be too difficult to choose
Some volunteers, for everyone will want
To be confirmed as a participant."
The Levantine declares, "If God permits,
The chosen men will see the benefits
Resulting from their actions multiply.
Tomorrow, if God wills, these men and I
Should practice to perfect delivery
Of many heavy items rapidly
To the concealment of our hiding place.
Right after noon prayers let the men embrace
The duties I must carefully impart.
Tomorrow, if God wills, we'll make our start."
